How do I call Rentoper?

What are the amenities and furniture’s available in the property?

All properties listed on the platform come with specific amenities as listed by publisher of the property and as provided by the owner of the property. You are requested to check the details on website and confirm the same by physically visiting the particular property. The Platform does not take any guarantee or liability of any amenity(ies) listed by the publisher of the property.

What are the property rules?

There are no property rules as long as you are a good citizen, adhere to the law of the land and respect your neighbours. If there are any specific property rules, it would be covered under the property listing and agreement.

What is the minimum stay?

The lock-in period mentioned states the minimum amount of time you are required to stay, which will be discussed with you by the Rentoper. The duration that is decided upon will be mentioned in your rental agreement. If you vacate the property before the lock-in period has been completed, Payment to be made as per agreement terms.

What is covered in Rent?

Rent covers your stay at the Flat with all provided/available amenities.
Your rent does not cover:
Monthly Water charges. Monthly Electricity Charges. Monthly Cooking Gas charges. Monthly DTH and Internet recurring charges. Basically, any recurring charges for maid, cleaning etc. Any additional furnishing that’s not part of the standard rental or specified in agreement.

What payments must I complete before moving in?

Before you move in, you have to pay the one month’s rent in advance and the security deposit amount as advised by the Property Owner. These amount will be transferred to Property Owner after deducting Rentoper fees and transaction charges. These need to be paid 3 days prior to the move-in date. Once this is done, you would be handed over the keys to your new place!

How do I get my security deposit back?

All the refunds happen via bank transfer. You will receive an email 2-5 days before exit date with a link to share your bank details, you share the bank details in that. Alternatively, you can also send the bank details to info@rentoper.com. After we receive your request for moving out from the property we will visit the property to check for any damages done to property. If there is any repair and maintenance to be done, estimates for the same will be given to you. Refunds will be made after deducting the repair and maintenance cost, pending electricity bill, water bill and any other charges to be paid by you. Refunds will be processed within maximum 4 to 5 working days after adjusting all deductibles & receiving the same back from the property owner.

When to pay the rent?

Monthly rentals and any other charges to be paid before 5th of each month.

How to pay my rent/dues?

You can know and pay your rent/dues by logging into your dashboard. You could pay via Debit Card , UPI or via Net Banking.

Do I need to pay maintenance charges?

You can refer your agreement for more details.

Are there any other charges than those mentioned in the Dashboard or Agreement?

All charges are clearly mentioned in the agreement and dashboard. We do not charge anything apart from the charges mentioned in the agreement.

How to schedule a visit?

On the website, there is an option to schedule a visit. You must fill all essential information and schedule a visit at your convenience. For further assistance, you can also contact the sales person.

What are the Property visit timings?

From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., you can plan a visit utilising the property’s schedule visit option. We may also offer a video tour of the property if necessary. On a case-by-case basis, you can also request a site visit outside of these hours. You are welcome to contact us about it.

How do I cancel or reschedule my property visit?

Feel free to reschedule on your dashboard as per your convenient time.

I want to know more about the property.

We transparently display all information you need to know about the property on our site, and you may contact the salesperson for further information.

Is the Property pet friendly?

Please check specifically before booking the property if pets are allowed.

Is there a lift at the properties?

It is dependent on the properties.

Is there a balcony on this property?

Because each property is unique, some buildings will have balconies while others will not; this will be included in the description and amenities of property listing on rentoper.com.

Do you have a power backup system at your properties?

It is dependent on the properties.

Can I book the flat for Bachelors?

You are required to check the same in property listing on website.

How accurate are the property images?

We acquire pictures of the complete property while on boarding a property on our site from the owner in order to correctly portray its characteristics. The same information is available on our website/app.

Do all properties have parking?

Please see the list of amenities listed in property listing.

How can I find the list of amenities?

On our site, we clearly present all of the information you need to know about the property. The description is displayed on the property listing page.

Can you provide additional information about the nearby bus station, grocery stores, and other facilities?

We display the property’s location on Google Maps so you can learn more about the neighbourhood and nearby amenities.

What is my rent cycle? How do I change my rent cycle?

Rent cycle from 1st to 1st of every month. For the month that you move in we may be required to pay only pro-rata rent for that month or pro-rata rent for that month and next month rent in advance.

Does the rent include Gas bill and Electricity bill?

The customer is responsible for all utility payments such as drinking water, gas, and electricity bill.

How do I extend my agreement term?

For further extension you can mail to info@rentoper.com mail and confirm the same.

What is the duration of the Agreement?

The long-term agreement will have a 11 months’ duration.

I want to vacate early, what is the procedure?

If you wish to vacate email us at info@rentoper.com, all deductions will be as per the agreement terms.

Can I vacate the flat immediately without providing notice?

A mandatory notice should be issued in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement.

What is the notice period for vacating the property?

As per Rentoper agreement, 1-month prior written notice should be given.

I need owner pan details; how do I get that?

Once all payments are cleared and agreement is signed then you can request the owner’s pan card details through mail.

Which cities do you provide your services in?

You are required to visit Rentoper website.

I am a house owner; how can I benefit from Rentoper?

You can list your property on the platform and avail the services for the owners which are assured rental guarantee, rental payment directly in your bank account, etc.

Do both the owners & tenants need to have their account verified before being allowed to use the services provided by Rentoper?

Yes

What are the various modes of verification? How much time it generally takes for the verification process?

It is a standard Bank KYC process. If all the required documents provided by you electronically in clear & legible form, this will take 4 to 6 working hours only.

I don’t want to remember another password using all those special characters. Can I log-in via any social media platform?

Sure, you are welcome to login using social media platform.

What are the steps involved in renting out a property on Rentoper?

What are the things I should keep in mind/be careful about, before listing a property?

The details and picture of property should be clear for a better visibility on website.

How much time it takes for my property listing to be visible in your portal?

This would generally take 24 hours to 48 hours to verify the details provided by you.

Am I allowed to list certain preferences in my listing so that I get tenant of my choice?

How can I be sure about the tenant visiting my property is a reliable person?

As a Rentoper policy tenant verification will be done and moreover Rentoper associates would be there for tenant and your assistance during property visit on best effort basis.

How and when will I receive my rent from Rentoper?

You will receive your rent as per the agreement dates and it would be direct deposit to your bank account.

Who will manage my property on behalf of me?

A regular check on property is being taken care by Rentoper or Rentoper’s Associate.

How frequently will I have update on my property maintenance?

It depends on subscription opted by you.

Who will ensure vacation of my property after agreement period is over?

Rentoper will assist in vacation of property.

What are the steps involved in finalising a property for rent on Rentoper?

Shortlisting the property on website will ease all the steps for finalising the property as our associates will be there to assist you at every steps.

Am I allowed to put certain filters regarding preferences in my search option so that I get the property of my choice for rent?

Sure, we have tried optimising the desired filters for listing the property, however if need be you write to us for any particular preferences.

If I don’t get the property of my choice, can I list out my requirements so that the owners/brokers will be able to contact me?

How can I know that the property being listed is by an owner or broker?

It would be clearly defined on website.

Do you carry out background check of the owners/properties before allowing the listing in your portal?
